TITLE: Youth Lacrosse Coach

DEPARTMENT: Lacrosse Operations

REPORTS TO: Lacrosse Director

FLSA: Part-time; Hourly Wage – Non-Exempt


You have a growth mindset, excellent coaching skills and can drive performance based on developing lacrosse player skills and values that are used on and off the field, respect, progress, hard word, excellence and enjoyment. You help us promote discipline and respect, empowerment built through confidence during practice with quality instruction and a positive attitude, aspiration of being great lacrosse players as well as great people, children that are engaged in their communities, players that are responsible for their actions at home, in school and on the field and an attitude which will take them to the next best step in life and in their careers.


  • Assists in conducting the team’s practices, training camps and training sessions.
  • Assists in coaching the players during all games and events.
  • Assists the director in preparation for games.
  • Assists in the scouting and evaluation of potential players for the club star program.
  • Participates in promotional, sponsorship and public relations activities requested by Club at reasonable times and upon reasonable prior notice.
  • Other duties and services as may reasonably be assigned that are consistent with employment as trainer of the program.
  • Other duties as assigned.
  • Important: This position is the starting point for our full-time coaching pathway at Lou Fusz Athletic. Lacrosse skills & experience: Real soccer experience and excellent skills are preferred. Lacrosse passion is a MUST. Lacrosse skills as a coach is highly preferred, but not required.
  • Minimum coaching license and is preferred, but not required either.
  • Responsible: arrives on time to each session, can handle a group of 15 or more children, keeps accurate attendance, communicates well with site director, teachers, etc.
  • Professional : neat in appearance, athletic, friendly and needs to be a GREAT communicator.
  • Available: Our trainings are performed *Seven days per week from 5pm to 9pm.* Also, we will have weekend training sessions, so you need to be available when needed upon schedule. The more flexible you are, the better chance you have to be hired.
  • Enthusiastic.
  • Background check cleared — To be considered you must pass a Federal & State Background Check.
  • Reliable Transportation needed.

Important: Pay rate is based on experience.
