MLS Next Staff Coach

Job Title: Lou Fusz Athletic MLS NEXT Staff Coach
Location: Lou Fusz Athletic Complex and Lou Fusz Athletic Training Center
Job Type: Full-Time

Job Summary:
We are seeking an enthusiastic, responsible, and energetic MLS NEXT Staff Coach to join our team. The coach will be responsible for managing and leading teams in the Lou Fusz Athletic MLS NEXT Program. Additional responsibilities based on experience and knowledge in youth soccer.

Key Responsibilities:

Execution of club identity/style/curriculum/standards
In line with the club player development philosophy, continue to develop and to advance players in the player pathway model
Implement LFA curriculum into teams
Maintain LFA player standards and expectations
Conduct annual Winter and Spring player evaluations and individual development plans across platform
Assist in various day to day operations around team creation from programming, admin, curriculum, and communications
Seasonal presence in specific age groups
Participate in seasonal coaching education and meetings within LFA
Coordination with recruiting manager
Build numbers in LFA Blue Star platform identifying targeted age groups
Build numbers at LFA through one’s own age groups
Work in conjunction with Staff to accurately place players in age groups

Qualifications:

Previous experience coaching or working with children, preferably in youth soccer.
Knowledge of soccer rules, techniques, and training methods.
Strong communication, leadership, and organizational skills.
Efficient in Microsoft Outlook Suite and Google Workplace
Ability to motivate and inspire young athletes.
Must pass a background check

Preferred Qualifications:

USSF B License Preferred
Playing experience at the youth, high school, or collegiate level.

Schedule & Compensation:
Weekday evenings and weekends (schedule varies by season).
Competitive salary based on experience and certifications.
