Jeff Fell Named New Football Director

Lou Fusz Athletic is proud to welcome Jeff Fell as its new Football Director. As the Football program’s lead, Fell will oversee our football players, coaches and program development and growth. We are looking forward to Fell taking our football program to new heights.

Jeff was born in Battle Creek, Michigan. His dad was a part of the U.S. Marine Corps. Jeff experienced living abroad in Japan. Fell has over 10 years of coaching experience. He began his career as an assistant coach at Great Neck North High School in New York.

Furthermore, Fell was a member of the 2007 U17 National Rugby Team. He traveled to England to play Romania, Portugal, and Canada. Moreover, he went to the NCAA Tournament in 2015 with Norwich University as Run Game Coordinator. Fell also coached 8 All-State players at MICDS.

Fell joins LFA from Mary Institute and Country Day School (MICDS). He served as the Junior Varsity Offensive Coordinator. Also, he served as the Varsity Running Back Coach. During his time at MICDS, he assisted with on field coaching, training session planning and management of players.

“I’m excited to lead the Football program at Lou Fusz Athletic into a new future. LFA Football will be following USA Football’s Development Model to ensure the proper introduction of contact to our youth. We’ll provide numerous non-contact and limited contact opportunities with professionally certified coaches. Safety will be our top priority. LFA Football will be a big family. This means we hope to not only develop youth but help with their college recruiting process too. To sum up, this is a tremendous opportunity to work in the same facilities as the Super Bowl Champion Rams. I will do everything I can to ensure that LFA Football lives up to the same professional standards.”
