St. Louis Soccer Hall of Fame Honors Angel Ikeda with Future Star Award

 

The St. Louis Soccer Hall of Fame is honoring our own Angel Ikeda as a part of their 2016 Future Stars Awards.

Biography

Angel is a four year varsity starter at Francis Howell Central and team captain, Angel helped lead the team in 2015 to Conference and District Championships and a Class 4 semi-finalist for the first time in the schools’ history. In 2015, Angel was awarded second team All-Conference and first team All-Conference in 2016. Class four All-Regional and All-Metro and All-State in 2016. Angel was voted Most Improved player in 2015 and 2016 and in 2014 Best Defensive player at Francis Howell Central. She was also awarded Best Performance goal by STL Today in 2016.

As a member of the Lou Fusz Soccer Club since 2014, Angel has worn the captain arm band and her team, U19 G98 Brinker Red, is currently ranked third in the state. The team won Lou Fusz Tournament championships in 2014 & 2015. Missouri State semis in 2015, CASL Champions in 2015 along with SE College and Scott Gallagher Showcase finalist in 2015. Angel has committed to play at SIU Edwardsville next year.
