This program offers a professional-style environment with access to national-level competition, elite coaching, and individualized development plans. Homegrown is designed to prepare players for high-level collegiate programs and professional opportunities, both on and off the field.

MLS NEXT academy
Lou Fusz Athletic’s MLS NEXT Academy program is our second-tier elite training environment within the MLS NEXT pathway. Designed for high-level players who show strong potential, the Academy focuses on advanced skill development, tactical awareness, and competitive match play. It serves as a critical stage in preparing players for the demands of the Homegrown program and beyond. Within the MLS Next academy, premier and major teams are housed.

RED STAR TEAMS
Lou Fusz Athletic’s Red Star Teams offer competitive opportunities for players in the same age groups as our elite programs, focusing on strong player development in a team-first environment. Competing in the St. Louis Youth Soccer Association (SLYSA) league, these teams provide a high-quality training and game experience, helping players grow their skills, understanding of the game, and love for soccer through local competition.
